It sounds a lot like a movie script. A property owner sells some land. The only problem is a graveyard is currently on the property. Rather than spending the time and money to relocate the graves, the property owner has the headstones and markers removed, and leaves the tombs behind. Many generations later, an unsuspecting buyer purchases the land, completely unaware of the spirits that have taken possession of it. That is the alleged history of this ”haunted land”, being offered for sale in the Nichols Lake area of East Milton. Property owner, Michael Wright, has gone on record several times, claiming he and his family have experienced ”apparitions, cold spots, and poltergeist activities” since moving onto the property.
